Is China a good country? Sure!
Do Chinese people work hard? Yes. They are smart leaners, too.
Does China government care about its poeple? I believe it does.
Does China have problems? Definitely! But, every country has its own problems!
Can China use its own ways to solve these problems? Why not!
...
Is democracy good? It depends.
Can people choose democracy instead of other methods? Yes.
Can Taiwanese people choose democracy instead of other methods? Sure.
Is democracy in Taiwan perfect? No.
Do Taiwanese people work hard to get their system better? I feel so.
Is Taiwan recognized as a country by most countries in the world? No.
Technically, does China control Taiwan? No.
Do Taiwanese people want to be united with China? I don't think so.
Can Taiwanese people use democracy as a reason against unification with China? Sure. China wants to take Taiwan, so it is human nature for Taiwanese people to make sure they can maintain their living standards (much higher than China now for sure).

My point is:
PLEASE RESPECT TAIWAN!
