The June 4th night
  A man
  A boy's father
  A fugitive in running
  Still had his students blood smelling
  Forced to run far away
  Through labyrinth in darkness

 Only a little dry food left in 
 his broken backpack
 His wife prepared a few months ago
 In the months of suppression
 The polices chased him around
 Hiding day and night
 Only to find a narrow path north 
 from Beijing 一 Tianjin
 En routed to Russia then

He lost in forest
near the border in North eastern
A farmer saved his weakening life 
Ran south under stars
after his resurrection

To cross the Pacific occean.

Also in the night of suppression
 Another man
 with a loud voice rising
 A lone warrior stayed in capital Beijing
 Unable to save his friends 
 Arrested and sent to prison

 A tearful wife left by his death bedside 
 An empty chair in military hospital room
