When she was 8 months pregnant she still ran this driving school all by herself. She had another young child already before this one. I was at her driving school twice, quit in the middle for the first time. The second time I passed the test with three tries. The real problem came after passing the license test. My car was an old model with no camera on the back or on the side mirrors so I had several minor accidents by crashing into the other cars when I tried to turn to the right. And of course I had a hard time at the parking lot because there was no rearview camera or warning sounds. But luckily I've survived the ordeal and the next car is fully equipped with side and back cameras and parking warning.
So driving school can get you pass the license test but it can't really teach driving. Driving is about muscle memories. Even the dummiest people can drive if they follow the traffic law carefully. Anybody can drive, but your first car might be a wreck or full of dents or the front might fall off, it's ok. Buy an old car for your teen. Let them crash it a few times, they'll learn.
