【童趣】I played baseball with Rednecks

Is the term "redneck" a slur? Nope. Not today, anyway. Today it is widely recognized as a native brand name. Gretchen Wilson's country hit "Redneck Woman" resonates throughout the Appalachians and beyond. "Hell Yeah!"

In Rednecks' eyes, America is a baseball nation. The final victory will always be won with American grit and ingenuity.  By the way, that's how an impromptu baseball game was played out one breezy summer day. I was barely a teenager then, and so was each and every one of my Redneck teammates.
