朋友Sandy夫妻，在十多年前的大熱天，呼朋喚友揮汗掌勺，給我家"哥哥"操辦Baby Shower。在大包小包的Baby Shower禮物裏，有一張Sandy精心準備的催眠曲CD，多少年來一直陪著我們。最初是半夜裏起來喂奶的時候我自己聽，漸漸發現"哥哥"煩躁想哭的時候放一段"Baby Sleep"就會安靜下來，"哥哥"長大以後，這張CD又換到"妹妹"房間的機器上去放,效果也是一樣顯著。
孩子們長大一些以後, 我開始有閑心收集古典音樂的CD，也有意識地在"哥哥妹妹"上床睡覺以後，在他們房間的音響上, 很輕聲地放個把小時的名家名曲, 希望能夠因此潛移默化。"哥哥"現在有時候也會投我所好地和我討論討論蕭邦或者柴可夫斯基。每每過了一陣，我們卻又會不約而同地回過頭來聽幾天"Baby Sleep"裏的抒曼聖桑柴可夫斯基伯拉牟斯莫紮特，以及那些半熟不生不知作曲家的曲子。
這一張合家喜歡的CD，是會一路一直聽下去的。
多年以後孩子們長大了，那時候的"Baby Sleep"對於我們大人，又會有不同的意義。 一段段名曲的背後， 伴隨了一段段孩子們成長的過程。這樣的一個Baby Shower禮物，儼然成為了我們一家的最愛， 可以算是禮物裏的極品了。
