Subject: Message of Frank BOSTYN - Dean of NEOMA Business School
----
Dear Partners ,
We have experienced the worst last days of our time after the attacks that struck Paris and the Ile de France area in the evening of 13 November.
We would like to thank all of you who shared their sadness and anger after these events during which two of our students have been killed : Marie LAUSCH, a graduate of our CESEM program and a current student on our Paris campus, and Claire TAPPREST, student of the Master In Management “Grande Ecole” (Reims Campus).
We are also waiting to hear from another of our students who has been reported missing and we are staying alert on the subject.
At this difficult time, it is great to know we have good friends we can count on around the world and we thank you for the care shown to our students on exchange at your institutions.
We can ensure you that we have been able to get in touch with all exchange students and have been confirmed that they are safe. We are at their disposal should they need any information or support of any kind. We have also reinforced all possible security measures on our campuses.
Today, solidarity towards all victims is and will be in our minds. We obviously do wish that your communities and families are all safe and thank you for your support to our students and communities abroad.
To fight violence, fundamentalism and obscurantism, there can be only one and the same answer : « #humanship », which best symbolises our mission as educators and sources of new knowledge.
With warm regards from France,
Frank BOSTYN
Dean
