There are 25% non-chinese Singaporean! Singapore is never a chinese country! Get that fact right!
Singaporean chinese are also very different from prc chinese as our ancestors came to settle down here before prc is established! Besides, there is a few decades of isolation practised by mao whereby chinese culture is practically eradicated.
The offsprings of the lost generation, i.e. you, are a very different lot altogether! Your culture is distinct in the sense that nobody can see any chineseness in a prc! You are like an Eqyptian living in Eqypt but not a link can be found in an eqyptian to the old culture! Now that is also true in prc!
So stop trying to represent all chinese in the world because you are not qualified!
