The Chinese undergraduate scholarship holder who has come under fire for making derogatory comments about Singaporeans appeared before a disciplinary panel at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on Tuesday. 

 

An NUS spokesman told The Straits Times that a decision is likely to be made in one to two weeks, after which the student, 25-year-old Sun Xu, will be given 14 days to appeal.
