演員與作家大罷工的影響與Summertime Sadness

60年前，當時的演員工會主席, 前總統裏根 Reagan, 帶領SAG演員工會取得罷工的勝利。這周17萬演員與作家聯合大罷工將會取得怎樣的結果呢？

演員給人的感覺似乎很賺錢。湯姆.克魯斯Tom Cruise，去年拍《壯誌淩雲》時候，估計共賺了一個億美元，但是一般的演員都賺不了什麽錢，平均每小時$28不到（與卡車司機差不多）； 隻有14%的演員工資超過$2.6萬，即達到這個水平的員工就有（工會）提供的健康保險。可以想象大部分演員的生活是相當清苦的。我知道的一朋友女兒在好萊塢做導演，過去兩三年新冠疫情期間好多人是沒有工作的，而這三年新冠也改變了人的娛樂習慣，美國與中國電影院的每月營收也隻有新冠之前的八成左右。

看來許多人不能在這個行業幹下去了，或者說生活更加艱難。這也是他（她）們走上街頭的重要原因之一。當然還有一些什麽人工智能和網絡對工作的衝擊與保障訴求等等。

當下的生活還是最主要的。

相信很多人現在也不太看電影了，因為現在電影的品質確實不太好，看看年初得奧斯卡是那部電影也知道一些原因，加上這次大罷工，將對今年與明年的電影、電視劇製作有很負麵的影響。

總之，還是同情這些相對夕陽行業的員工，他們的困難是普遍的。在加州、在紐約等地今年醫院、教師或搬運工，都可以威脅罷工而都取得超過預料的薪水增長與福利， 因為現在整體上北美的招人、招工是很困難的，資本家們不得不掏腰包，滿足這些因物價上漲引發的罷工威脅與需求，這也促進了經濟的增長，因為大部分藍領工獲得了好的收入將會有助於消費的提升，也就是經濟的增長。但物價也不會很快下去，因為有工作就有錢買東西，有更多的收入family就可以買貴點的東西。

最後，祝願好萊塢這幫SAG工會會員與作家協會會員能夠在今年罷工中獲得勝利。
