感人肺腑的故事，真正的美國精神

一個白人父親，在自己的愛女不幸去世之後，決定把愛女的器官捐獻給醫院。愛女的不同器官，拯救了四個不同種族的男人的生命。她的心髒，捐獻給了一個生命屈指可數的20歲的黑人小夥。

父親為了愛女，為了宣傳器官捐獻的重要性，開始了長達2600英裏的自行車遠足。在途中，他與接受他愛女心髒移植的黑人小夥相見，兩個素不相識的白人父親與黑人小夥，被愛女的心髒緊緊聯係在一起。

相見的場景，尤其是父親用聽診器在黑人小夥胸前聽愛女心髒跳動的畫麵，讓我瞬間淚奔。。。

After his 20-year-old daughter Abbey died, Bill Conner went on a 2600 mile bicycle ride.

During his ride, Conner stopped in Ventress, Louisiana to meet his daughter's heart recipient, Loumonth Jack,Jr.

Jack suffered a heart attack at the age of 20. The Doctors gave him days to live.

Without Abbey's heart, Jack wouldn't be alive today.

Conner used a stethoscope so he could listen to his daughter's heart beating inside Jack's chest.

If you want a legacy - what better legacy could you have than to help other people live?

備注：

考古了一下這個大愛無疆的爸爸的愛女的死因，非常令人遺憾。一家四口去墨西哥度假，女兒與兒子去遊泳池玩，喝了度假村的帶酒精的飲料，結果女兒淹死在遊泳池，兒子差點兒淹死，被救活。

那個飲料根本就不符合飲食標準，裏麵混有大量的methanol，a chemical commonly used in windshield washer fluid 。
