"Save the Last Dance for Me" 由 Doc Pomus 與 Mort Shuman原創, 1960 年 由the Drifters 首唱，主唱Ben E. King.

這首歌最著名的版本是 麥克.布布雷 的再創作，首唱於電影 "The Wedding Date", 這部電影收錄的sound tracks如此之多，他自己在其中就有三首演唱“Save the last dance for me"是壓軸曲， 另有很流行的“ Sway" 與 “Home" ，電影之後，這一版本於2006年在廣播中發表，如今在POP與Rock頻道還是很火。
