Regarding Beijing's house price, my instant sense is the price won't go down dramatically. Even though a lot of my relatives say the government has new policy's to control the price and they anticipate the price going down soon. Based on the huge population and the trend of population flow, I still think the demand for housing in Beijing will remain high and this will be the main reason to keep the price high.
But it is good opportunity for now to buy houses in US. The new house pricing in average in the area I used to live went down by 20% in last month and the old house pricing in average went down by 12%.
You can’t compare US and China, they are two different economic zones and they don’t follow the same rules.
Basically I have same opinion as Ali for Beijing’s house price and I also agree with Pin Nong that it is a good timing to buy houses in US.
