The Lady Who Has 6 Great Grand Children

They were feeble, slow and look like 100 years old. I thought they were just another those loving couple who had married forever.

They came to our breakfast table and sit next to us.

“We have six great grand children and we did some shopping for each of them.” The old lady started slowly, with obvious pride in her voice.

“Six great grand children? Wow ...” Me and My friend were amazed.

He left the table to fetch some food.

“ We have been married for ten years.”, she continued.

“10 years? “ I was a little caught off guard.

“Both of us lost our spouses and we married 10 years ago. He has 3 children. I had none. And now I have six great grand children ...”, she smiled. Her face glow with happiness and satisfaction.

My heart skipped a beat ... So people do find love and companionship at all age, they find it at their 20s, 30s ...70s or even 80s ... If they are lucky, they even find their great grand children ...
