He might have other women as well, and also you r one of his option, he doesn't want to lose you for sex but he is not yours solely either.
I just found out this, suffered about this until I hacked his email..I know why he had the same situation as yours b4, like suddenly disappeared, not returning calls, etc.
Depends on you, if you don't mind to competite with other ladies, just go ahead, if you can't, leave him...
