看來有必要解釋一下我今天早上發的貼，

因為好幾個人都理解錯了，我想是我沒說明白。

因為到目前為止， swine flu 的fatal infection 都發生在墨西哥人裏，其他人雖然也受感染，但是這些人受感染後，其症狀與一般的流感沒啥區別，而且（NEW York 一個學校裏因去Mexico 而感染的幾十個學生）都已恢複正常，其他人口中也還沒有fatal case，所以我認為墨西哥人口中有一部分人口的基因(probably their MHC complex make up) hindered the detection of this particular virus by their immune system. This does not mean their immnue system is weak in general, (usually people in developing countries have stronger immune system than people from developed world), but just this virus somehow escaped from their immune system. If this is true, then swine flu is not a threat for people with non-Mexico orgin.

Of cause, there are other explanations to the fact that only Mexican have dies from swine flu. For example, it might take long time to kill, or the virus has mutated to a much weaker form in short time. If these scenario, we could be all in danger.
