If he does want to shut down his feeling to you, he should not let you know his feeling and goes away from you.

His telling you that he wanted to shut down his feeling is similar to a suicide in a pulic place. i.e., he intutively does not want to shut down the relation with you. Well, since he planned to get married in a couple of months, he does not want any unpredicted events to occur., which may be uncontrollable to him. he would probably come to contact you after 1 or 2 year from the date from his marriage.

A real man should not let his feeling to fall into another girl if he has one girl having relation with him. He may choose to establish a relation with you but breaks the other relation. Therefore, either he is immature or he has a mean heart towards women.

You should have ability to predict what whoudl happen to you and to him, if you.....

That is what I can think about it, sorry for the straight words.
