so interesting,i happened to be watching this TV series very recently. (watched it ten something years ago, and now watched it again, i wanted to see Fang Yu's performance in this show, Fang Yu's performer just recently passed at very young age, so sad).

Zhao Wei may not have sung so well, but with the story background, with the scene, with the training moving, with so many "Chinese refugees" in the train station bidding farewell with their loved ones, not knowing when or if they would be seeing each other again.. the song was very touching. The scene was also very moving, it is the reflection of the true history, a very sad, heart sinking part of our history.

i liked Zhao Wei's performance in this TV series, very touching. As for her singing skills, i will let you do the critique and i respect your critique.
