菲律賓共和國，簡稱菲律賓，位於亞洲東南部。共有大小島嶼7000多個，總麵積29.97萬平方千米。首都為大馬尼拉市。2024年，菲律賓人口約1.127億。

菲律賓境內野生植物有近萬種，其中高等植物有2500餘種。主要有鬆柏、竹子、龍腦香、紅樹、鬆樹等。菲律賓境內野生動物多達200種，大部分為翼手目與食蟲目；鳥類約有750多種。主要有野水牛、眼鏡猴、鼠鹿、刺蝟、老鼠、食猴鷹等。菲律賓境內礦藏主要有銅、金、銀、鐵、鉻、鎳等20餘種。

主要景點：圖巴塔哈群礁海洋公園、巴洛克教堂、科迪勒拉水稻梯田、普林塞薩地下河國家公園、維甘曆史古城。

菲律賓從1991年起發行生肖郵票。
