也是一個愛動手修理、做東西的書呆子

 

修理：

1. 修過六七輛汽車和一輛摩托車

1976 Fiat 128 （手動）, 閘液趕氣泡（with  一日本朋友），消音器 （把右邊兩輪開到curb上，鑽到車底），clamp上的。買時6萬miles,無閘，買時$60, 賣時$220.

1978（？） Ford Maverick（台灣同學的），front panel 夜間不亮， 修好了（不是保險絲，是用電線連起來的。

1981 Datsun 310 （手動）, 換離合器（左前輪附近的body上有一洞，easy reach), 手磨前閘disk. 買時6萬miles，$1000, insurance 賠$1000（被車追尾）, 最後送給了西班牙同學。

1982 Datsun 210, 換發電機，給空調充冷媒。

1983 Saab 900 turbo， 換閘管(是reinforced rubber管， 不是鐵管，非常難入手，太擠。

1984 Nissan Maxima，換高壓圈，汽油噴嘴，發電機，fuel filter ， 放倒擋時後燈不亮，到車底接一根線，引到車內接到一個微動開關在倒檔位置上解決的， （93k 買的，230k 報廢的），有三年（one way 84 miles 去工作）在highway拋錨五次（也沒手機，當時已經普及了，但是窮，不想花那錢），其中一次是高壓圈，當時自己判斷出來的，走路到一local parts store, 他們order，等到下午才來，沒吃中午飯，拿到後走回來，自己裝上的， 去工作的。（93k 買的，230k 報廢的）

1990 Toyota Camry LE（手動），水箱，distribution cap, 雨刷電機，雨刷開關（用一微動開關裝在應該的位置上解決的），發電機兩次。（97k買的， 230k $50賣的）。Camry 是我開過的車裏最好的。

1976 Honda 360 motorcycle, timing chain broken, 把valves打彎，在宿舍裏，把engine 拆下，把head block 送到車行他們把valve 裝上，自己裝回，再裝好timing chain才工作。

火花塞，機油，空氣過濾器，閘皮，閘靴 都是自己換的。

修的車都是在80，90和00年代修的，沒留下照片，甚是遺憾。來美國這麽多年，都開的是舊車，開的最新的車是2015年得到兒子開了15K邁2014的車。

2. 修過冰箱

Kenmore brand, 凍箱工作，冰箱不工作，判斷出是Damper 壞了，用有機玻璃磨出了一個（下行左2），裝的dumper裏，冰箱就工作了，沒花一分錢。
