我對描寫人的日常情感的詞比較有感覺。描寫風景的，政治的，我無法感覺其音樂。或者太朦朧的，太詩意的，太過於陽春白雪，我作不出相應的曲子來。更重要的一點，我要讀著詞能讀出韻律來，才可能作得出曲子來，即便我自己作的詞也不列外。這跟詞寫得好不好無關，但跟我的音樂水平有關，畢竟沒有受過專業訓練。
下麵這幾首歌曲的詞作者都是本壇詩友，很多都是讀到詩後一小時內作成曲的。甚至，《油菜花又黃》是在機場等飛機時讀到的，當時馬上有感覺，在機場就用手頭上的小紙條把曲子記錄下來了。我總覺得，“文章本天成，妙手偶得之”。如果我讀不出韻律來的，我無論如何絞盡腦汁也譜不出好聽的曲子來。
