2009年，徐海燕走進了潛水圈。她在豆瓣中透露了自己為何潛水，她說想“逃離這個世界”。

　　潛水，為她在工作之餘打開了另外一扇門，她在網上的專欄中寫道：“潛水的路上有許多不一樣的風景，不一樣的人，不一樣的事。然而這一路最迷人的，還是不斷重新發現自己。”

 

Door

 

At the bottom of an infinite lake

you find a narrow wooden door

and a sturgeon you wake.  

You sing him a folklore

that has survived time and forsake.

He hears in your desire a world to explore,

away from the filthy and the fake. 

He leads you fin through the flimsy door,

till you see a blue shore.
