我不記得誰說的了，大意是，many books stopped at the place where interesting things have just begun. 我最近一直在琢磨這句話。
就是說，很多問題，很多topic，很多聽來的故事，在表麵上看是一回事。當你dig deep的時候，往往容易發現更深刻的東西。比如大部分言情文學就是男女克服了障礙後，決定在一起時，就完了。事實上，他們在一起之後，“真正的問題”，才終於開始了
比如Gone with the Wind，如果這本書就寫到女主結婚，或者第三婚這時候完了，那最精彩深刻的地方就都沒了。
所以我最近一直在“強迫”自己，不要著急去conclude。寫作是件非常、非常疲勞的事。有時候讀者讀著很輕鬆，其實 Easy reading is hard writing. 我不鼓勵單純為了湊字數去狗尾續貂，但是在很多、很多時候，一個故事，其實還沒完。如果這時候作者很累的話，take a break，休息一下，甚至休息幾個月，再來寫。Your story deserves it.
