Besides, that's not what Jesus was about.

Have you looked at how much churchs spend on poor and advocacy for peace? Have you looked at the track record of the churchs? How many churchs stood up against Iraq war? How many of the church leaders were against Iraq war before the war started? Not only they did not raise a unified voice against war, majority of churchs, notably evangelicals, were vocally supportative.

Have you had no knowledge that Roman churchs openly supported Nazi?
