It shouldn't matter much electorally

It's always alluring to think that events like this have an impact on the election, but voters just don't care very much about issues like this. This isn't something that is easy to explain in a short sentence or phrase, and it isn't something that is viscerally felt by many voters, even Hispanics. It should be regarded as a victory for the Obama administration, but it won't matter come election time. Notably, this decision will almost immediately be overshadowed by the much more important decision coming on Thursday, on the health care law.
