Poor China - All these comments seems stupid. I lived in the same town with this professor before he went back to China. Basically a high school teacher earns more than him. In fact if he passed teacher certification. I do not think he will go back to China. He tried few times then have to go back to China. in US. You have to have teacher certification and be a US citizen to be a school teacher, but a so called assist professor, mostly a tempary job, paid like the cashier, can hire foreigner China offered him a great job. He should be gratefull
