查了一下曆史,Hantavirus爆發規模都小,最大一次是在韓戰;還是小心了

  • 2018–2019 Argentina Outbreak: Centered in Epuyén, Patagonia, this was one of the largest documented instances of human-to-human transmission. It resulted in 34 infections and 11 deaths.
  • 1993 "Four Corners" Outbreak: This outbreak in the southwestern U.S. (Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah) led to the first identification of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS). It was caused by the Sin Nombre virus, which spread through an explosion in the deer mouse population.
  • 1950s Korean War: Over 3,000 United Nations troops were affected by a hantavirus causing "Korean hemorrhagic fever," now known as Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS). This was the first major international event that brought hantaviruses to the attention of modern Western medicine.

原因是:

  • Poor Human-to-Human Transmission: Most hantavirus strains only spread from rodents to humans through the inhalation of dust contaminated with rodent droppings, urine, or saliva.
  • Limited Contagion: Even for the Andes strain—the only one confirmed to spread between humans—transmission typically requires prolonged, intimate, or direct physical contact.
  • No Asymptomatic Spread: Unlike COVID-19 or the flu, hantavirus is generally not believed to spread before an infected person shows severe symptoms, which makes it easier to isolate cases quickly.
