On 2024/06/22 at the time of sunset, Mercury was at Altitute +8.9 with Azimuth of 293.8, and Sun was at 0 with Azimuth of 299. In another word, were Mercury visible, you should spot it on the left side of the Sun.
The simple fact is that Mercury is just not that visible at all at the time of sunset.
What you have on the picture is a glare on your camera's sensor. Clean your lens when taking pictures next time :-)
