工作生活在這邊(英國英格蘭),有需要也有興趣看看新聞,我的主要媒介是 BBC, The Guardian, Financial Times, etc.;
最近3-5年開始,可能因為孩子相繼大了,有更多家庭生活+工作之餘可供自己單獨支配的時間,開始對於有明顯偏向性的報道做一些反饋,就是把自己作為讀者寫下的反饋,給文章所發在版麵的編輯(editor(s)) 通過電郵發過去;
這些交流,我都實名製,並直接告訴我的職業和雇主,同時強調我的發言與我的的雇主無關;
從我的經曆,基本都會給與回複;
再生後續,被列入編輯名單,時偶會收到他們邀請,幫忙sense checks 他們要發的文章;
這個給我增添一點業餘生活內容。
因為周內出差在外,今天不上班補休,午飯後給某媒介做了一點 review;
下麵是我發過的一份新聞讀後反饋,因為時間過去很久,我是原作者,所以可以原文分享如下:
Dated 15th September 2022
Dear Colleague,
I read this article today at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-62898660, titled “Queen Elizabeth II: Hong Kong's grief sends message to Beijing”.
I read through the content of the article and feel it is good to report how people in Hong Kong are paying their tributes to her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II.
However, I found the title of the article a bit of a stir and attaches too much politics, which I feel unnecessary.
I would rather hope that the BBC did not attach any politics on their reporting of peoples’ (over the world) sincere feeling of sadness and loss of her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II. I have enormous respect for the late Queen and do not want any politics to sour and/or ruin ordinary peoples’ (over the world) sorrow for the loss of the Queen.
PS. The BBC has been the main source from which I read my news, etc.
Best wishes,
xxx
