拜托你們別動不動就把德州拖出來做榜樣，說得跟我們可以一言不合就拔槍互射一樣

過去西部時代可能這樣，也確實那時候全國到處都基本這樣。

現在法製社會了，哪有一言不合就拔槍互射的。未經過教育的粗魯之人或許可以，但大多數Texsan還是經過良好教育的，不是每個德州人都是紅脖子。

有這種想法的同學，本身也是傲慢與偏見，或者說歧視也行，建議自省 Better Educate Yourself 

另外，德州的法律明確規定了何時可以使用暴力(force)，何時可以使用致命暴力(deadly force) 進行自衛。

比如，Texas Penal Code § 9.31

The castle doctrine in Texas presumes that using force is reasonable and justified when another person:

unlawfully and with force enters or attempts to enter your habitation, vehicle, or work-place; or
attempts to remove you, by force, from your habitation, vehicle, or work-place;
was committing or attempting to commit aggravated kidnapping, murder, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated robbery.

和 Self-Defense using Deadly Force - Texas Penal Code § 9.32

A person is justified in using deadly force against another if the actor would be justified in using regular self-defense against the other and reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary to protect the actor against the other's use or attempted use of unlawful deadly force or to prevent the other's imminent commission of aggravated kidnapping, murder, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated robbery.

法律上講自衛需要使用相當程度的暴力，而且證明自衛暴力或致命暴力使用得當，是在於你這一方。也就是說，這一槍下去，律師費肯定是少不了的。據統計，開一槍的成本是10萬美刀。
