The total amount that he got from Yu Xi Tabacco Company is about 800k in 17 years. 

However, the company sent about 100b profit to Beijing/China under him.

I happened to see him a couple of times, but never talked to him. From what I know, he is one of the persons of hard-working and almost always successful. However, he was almost nothing when he is 70 years old. 

In his final years, he eventually made some money for his family.

If he lives in USA, he is a billionaire many years ago.
