I was 13 years old in 1976 and I had lived under Mao for 13 years. My first memory started around 1967 when Culture Revolution reached its crazy heights. All these things happened under Mao, who is responsible for the catastrophe.
Deng and his folks allowed us to take part in the college entrance exam since 1977 right after the death of Mao and then I went to a University in 1979. I grew up in two period of times: Mao before 1976 and Deng after 1977. My experiences teach me how to make a judgement.
