He got one bullet in his left arm.

When I was a small boy, he used to take my hands to grab the bullet. It is part of his body.

When he past away a few years ago, he took the bullet with him. A bullet with an old soldier is a glory for the whole family. 

In addition, his hairs were burned in one air strike by US air force. He told me that it was the most dangerous case in his whole life. But he somehow striped his clothes to cover his head and to put the fire out (he repeatedly said that he does not know how he could stripe out all buttons immediately on his clothes. I guess it is like Li Guang shot the tiger. I don't want to try that !) After that, he spent 4 months in a hospital to recover. He survived!
