You probably live in rich countryside in US. So it is very hard to compare your experience with poor city dwellers. Please go live in Morningside neighborhood in NYC or Southside in Chicago for a year and then tell us what is it like, if you survive. Or if you think US countryside is better, the do not hide in your richer and safer middle class enclave, go live in poorer countryside.
