I couldn't agree more with you!

Indeed, the western and northwestern parts of China need be developped and more investment to build up infrastruture and to improve living standards of people. Aslo, a large part of rural areas in eastern and middle parts of the country have much more room to upgrade or build up the existing infrasture and to improving conditions of housing and public facilities, etc., etc. Another 20 to 30 years are required to completely modernize the roads, housings, public facilities, and even manufacturing and agriculture sectors, in addtion to the development of western and northwestern parts as sugested by Dr Chiyankun - to keep a relatively fast pace of economic growth (e.g., annual 7.5 to 8.5%)in China. If sucessful, China will have fully been modernized in industy, agriculture, defence, and science and technology as pointed out by Premier Zhou Enlai fifties years ago!
