Qing lost the war against

the eight nation. Lost war against japan. Quelled the taiping rebellion. But lost to the nationalist and Yuan Shi Kai. So with both internal(nationalist and taiping) and external factors (colonial powers) became a weakened and eventually collapsed. Like many dynasties before it is faced with difficulty administrating china, and also external wars, it couldn't handle the situation and collapsed.
