The author completely ignores the basic fact of China's economic and social development in the last 60 years, that China has estalished the most advnced manufacture systems in the world, and has produced about 50% goods and products with less than 20% population of this planet. In whatever criteria, China is now a leading industralized nation, and has physical GDP larger than the sum of the States, Japs, and Germany in 2013. Using a simple estimate of GDP equals to 5 times of physical GDP, that means China GDP is 1.7 times of the States in 2013!
