The time window you talked about is too short to drow any concl

At certain point, Nazi Germany looked invincible too, but it didn't last. 
China's development occurs mostly in the past 30 years. Even though China has made remarkable progress, it has also paid a huge environmental and humanitarian  price, which has never been addressed by Chinese. It remains to be seen if the progress is really sustainable.

Chinese have higher IQ? I think not. The only reason Chinese students did better in standard tests is they practice more.
