列舉進步不是評估進步的方法。適當的評估方法應基於可能取得進展進行評估。“十年動亂”的結果:

1.國民經濟損失巨大,高達3000億元以上2.科技嚴重滯後,與世界發達國家相差巨大3.曆史文物受到前所未有的破壞,教育程度落後,社會倫理道德失準。

十年文革令全國所有的學校進入停課狀態，大學入學考試取消。知名學者往往不堪羞辱，選擇自殺。

全國盛行“造反有理”的口號，法律完全受到漠視。全國大量文物受砸毀，古跡被破壞，對中國，以至人類文化遺產造成了嚴重的損害。

此外文化大革命後軍隊長期戰力受到嚴重損毀，造成軍隊“紅而不專”和訓練不足與溝通不良的結果，使後期的中越戰爭所造成嚴重的死傷就是一例。

他說鄧小平在毛澤東支持下主持中央日常工作。但忘了批鄧、反擊右傾翻案風。

“十年動亂”剝奪青年上大學的權利,上山下鄉,迫害知識分子,把經濟搞得一塌浮塗。有人還說“十年動亂”是巨大進步。我還記得打倒四人幫和宣告文化大革命結束時激動人心的場麵。我從來沒有想過今天會有人懷念“十年動亂。”
