凱列班：不要怕。這島上充滿了各種聲音和悅耳的樂曲，使人聽了愉快，不會傷害人。有時成千的叮叮咚咚的樂器在我耳邊鳴響。有時在我酣睡醒來的時候，聽見了那種歌聲，又使我沉沉睡去；那時在夢中便好像雲端裏開了門，無數珍寶要向我傾倒下來；當我醒來之後，我簡直哭了起來，希望重新做一遍這樣的夢。
（斯丹法諾：這倒是一個出色的國土，可以不費錢白聽音樂。）
（凱列班：但第一您得先殺死普洛斯彼羅。）
（斯丹法諾：那事我們不久就可以動手；我記住了。）
