"表忠心" is not a unique feature of 文革. It is through the entire period of Chinese government since 1949. For example, after 6/4/89, there is a lot of "表忠心". During Jiang's presidency, there is a lot of "表忠心", e.g., supporting the third generation of core party leader.
"文革餘孽" seems not to be "無限上綱". It is a judgement based on facts. As a matter of fact, it is in Chongqing where "文革中的一些現象仿佛又回來了". Many articles supporting Bo and activities of Bo in 重慶 do have the old features of 文革. For instance, many articles defame some government officials without any evidence. Some clearly encourage grass-root revolution. The laws are completed ignored and Bo can force people to do whatever he decides. Therefore, it is accurate to call Bo and his supporters "文革餘孽".
The simple fact that the central government is tolerating some attacks on President Hu and Premier Wen showed that the central government behaves differently from 文革. Can you imagine what would happen if someone cursed Mao and Zhou during 文革?
