But I think, thanks to Western cultural influence, Chinese Culture is gradually moving toward a more rational understanding of life and society.  The Renaissance and Enlightment are at the door step of Chian, it seems.  Even though it is 500 years behind the West.  But at least it is moving in the right direction.

On the other hand, West is gradually moving toward Plutocracy in which corporations and advocacy groups are taking control of the lives of people and the agendas of the societies.

The pendulum of history swings again.
