Give some examples what Mao did and what Hong Kong, Tainwan did at the same time?  Mao almost destroyed China.  That period he's in power was time the revolution of semi-conductor, but he was busy on culture revolution and all kind of stupid movements.  Maybe you have a reason to worship Mao, but what I went through told me he's a criminal.
