As the web technology matures, internet broadcast might replace the traditional TV broadcast in the end.

Think about it: if all the episodes of "Star Trek" are just a click away all the time, why should you wait in front of the TV on Tuesday for only two episodes thereof? That's the future of entertainment industry: go online or nowhere at all! The current demise of the newspaper industry is a wake-up call for the TV broadcasting industry.

To borrow a line from the Star Trek: In order to explore future opportunities, we should "boldly go where no man has gone before".
