1. the facts you learn much more about 維吾爾族 culture is a proof that you have had freedom.
2. why other 族s are not discriminated but few? everone is scared of being threatened and tries to avoid trouble makers, right? it is a down spiral resulting from long time interaction. I used to be always frondly wanting know more about 維族 but almost got robed by 維 kids in Guangzhou in 2004. Hope you understand how I feeling toward 維 changed.
3. you only see the PART of picture of the 廣東 event - starting with the rape. A professor from 新疆 told me that he witnessed that 維族 men openly touch (mo) Han women from top to private one by one (sexual harass) on buses in the city he live. That's common there and no Han dare to stand up including him. He felt guilt and shameful but no guts to protected those women. Can you see how others feel?
