I think so too.

This conclusion is from my own observation through society changes all through the 30 years. Yes, we have more materials. But we lost our safety, our dignity and our morality. We even lost our sense of pride of being a Chinse. We mimic all things Western, without asking the reason why.

If humans are animals, we will feel completely happy by having more materials. Unfortunately, human beings need a sense of safty, fairness and morality. That's not what "Capitalist in the name of Socialist" can give to its people.
