Chailing, Wangdan and other students were excellent students but not good politicians. Looking back, you'll find that they wanted to be "heros" to some extent on this purpose.

They didn't know what result they really wanted to achieve and in what operatable way, etc.

Selfishness crowned with democracy - hilarious!

Mercy on those died - soldiers, students, and someone we still don't know now.

Imagine what if the event successed - finally each of those leaders would have a wife at the left hand and a concubine at the right hand. Or other things happend on A Bian in Taiwan.

We were/are not ready for a democratic system yet. We should look at the "June 4th" event in two sides- pro/con.
