It is not whether or not US should be there. It is how US ends the war. Whether or not it is related to 911 is a nitpicking. Now Americans do not care about it because as time goes, the strategic significance of the Iraq war will be seen clearly.

With Obama being President, marke my words, he will not allow Iraq turned again an anti-US country in that dangerous region, where or not US is there.

Big portion of US public does not want US get out of the region. Some of them may want to get out of Iraq but they do so only if Iraq remain unharmful to US in the region. If Obama pulls out and Iraq become anti-US hiding places, believe me, he will lead US back in to clean them out.

Iraq War damaged America' international imagine, but not to the degree of irreparable, but strategic gain is obvious. That is why current media rarely discuss Iraq any more.
