My best friend used to live around that bell tower

We went to the same high school, school #25, located not on that street on the picture but next to Wang fuJing Ave.

I don't remember how we got to her home after school, probably by bus. Maybe we rode bicycles.

She has a son, 18 years old now. My kids are much younger than hers. We never met again after 2003. 

And we'll never see each other anymore, because we're not living in the same corner of the world anymore. 

So is life. People disappeared from your path, vanished. My only remembered friend of youth, gone forever.
