Natural disasters would be more severer
because of sea level rising, leading to much more damages to the giant cities along the coastline of China. Please look at the Google Earth - for the elevation above sea level (EASL) data for these cities. The followings are named a few cities in China.
Shanghai - EASL 11 meters;
Nanjing - 11 m;
Wuxi - 5 m;
Tianjing - 4 m;
Wuhan - 26 m;
Beijing - 50 m.
As a comparision, below lists some cities in USA, UK, and Japan.
New York - EASL 2 m;
Boston - 6 m;
London - 12 m;
Tokyo - 43 m.
Therefore, it is time to plan how to protect those cities with low EASL, like Shanghai, Tianjian, Wuxi.
Currently, China is facing the serious challenge from the coronavirus outbreak. But, this virus can be controlled, and shall be eventually gone with upcoming warmer weather.
Howver, the natural disaster will be much more severer to the cities with low EASL.
