還是大學二年的時候聽到這張專輯POP. 當時是買的磁帶，不過在當時而言，效果已經相當滿足了。作為電子音樂的先鋒，U2在這張專輯加快了音樂的節奏感，更過的糅合了其他流行音樂的元素。
我至今忘不了專輯中那首優美的吉他流行曲 Staring At The Sun，讓我回想起大學的一個燥熱的下午，我大聲吼著“I'm not the only one starin' at the sun.....“， 在專輯中， If God Will Send His Angels， If You Wear That Velvet Dress和Wake Up Dead Man等歌曲，那都是一貫符合U2的Ballad與Moody風格。
